On the weekend of June 5-7, 2009 several locally operated businesses and individuals banded together crossing completive boundaries and hosted a group of soldiers from Ft. Campbell’s Warrior Transition Battalion (WTB). The WTB is a unit that transitions wounded servicemen back into civilian life or back to active duty.
The weekend was filled with fun, fishing, live music, food and lots of thanks for the sacrifices they and their families endure for the freedoms we enjoy here in Southeast Tennessee and across this great nation of ours. Displayed here are a few pictures of the festivities that weekend.
The Soldiers were: Captain Chris Rusack - Chaplain, Major Galen Herrington - Chaplain, Sergeant Major Michael Collins, SFC Ronnie Gullion, Miki Padgett and Sergeant Steven Gerke.
Special thanks to the businesses and individuals that made this all possible.
